JenesisNow gives independent insurance agencies tools to manage commissions within their agency management system. Commission percentages can be set up for users and companies, helping your agency track both producer and agency commission amounts.
Commission information can be entered manually or processed through supported commission statement downloads.
Process Commission Statement Downloads
JenesisNow can process commission statements received through downloads.
When processing a commission file, JenesisNow attempts to match commission information with policies in the system. Matching is based on the policy number and effective date.
If an item does not match automatically, users can review it and attempt to match it to an existing policy. If the policy is not already in JenesisNow, a policy can also be created during the process.
Enter Commission Statements Manually
Commission statements can also be entered manually in JenesisNow.
Users can select the appropriate client and policy term and enter information from the carrier commission statement. Existing policy information populates into the commission entry, and the transaction type and total commission amount can be entered.
JenesisNow then calculates the producer commission based on the commission information associated with the policy and determines the remaining agency commission amount.
Review Agency and Producer Commission Reports
Commission information can be reviewed through the Commission Manager Admin Report.
Reports can include information such as producer names, producer commission amounts, and agency commission amounts. Users can also configure reporting options to group and total commission information by producer.
