JenesisNow- Transfer a Policy
How to move a policy to a different client in your JenesisNow system. This can be used to make a correction if a policy was accidentally linked to the wrong client. Occasionally the auto-download feature may link a policy to the wrong system.
Begin from inside the ‘Client View’
You’ll find the list of policies for each client in the ‘Policies’ section to the left.
In this example, there’s an active general liability policy. When you open the policy, you can review its details and specifics to help you discover which client the policy actually belongs to.
Scroll down to the bottom of the screen. On the right side of the screen, there is a section titled ‘Actions.’ Select ‘Transfer Policy’ under actions.
Inside the pop-up window, use the search bar to locate the correct client by name or address.
Select the client once it appears, then click the green button labeled ‘Transfer Policy.’
Policy transfers cannot be undone, so expect an extra popup window requesting confirmation. If you’re sure you’re transferring the policy to the correct client, select OK.
At the top of the screen, under client information, you will see the policy is attached to the new client.
