Have you ever needed to know details about a policy quickly, and wished you didn’t have to go all the way into the policy to find them?
Tags are your solution! This quick video shows you how to create tags on active policies – the perfect way to increase efficiency by using at-a-glance reminders.
Policy tags will allow you to add a quick label, category, or reminder attached to the policy that is visible at a glance without having to go into the policy.
Tags may be useful on certain policies based on specifics about the property or customer.
Search for a customer using the search bar in the top right of the screen. Once inside the Client View screen, scroll down the bottom until you’re able to see the Policies section. In this example, we select the active homeowners’ policy.
From inside the Client Policy view, scroll down to find the Policy Tags section at the bottom right of the screen.
Click the light blue button “Add Tags” and simply type the word or word combinations (per tag) in the popup window. Select the green “Save Tags” button when you’ve created the tags desired.
Great examples used in this video are “modular home” and “pool”.
Multiple policy tags are possible. Any word or words that would help you quickly identify details about the property or customer, at a glance, these may be good tags.
After saving your changes, exit to the Client View and any tags created will be visible when the mouse hovers over the active policy.
