
The Jenesis Agency Management Application is currently available in two versions, the Desktop Version and Hosted Version.
Desktop Version
Our Desktop version consists of loading the Jenesis Application directly to your Server and workstation(s) so that it can be accessed by multiple users simultaneously. Policyholder data stored will reside on your network and will require backup (see Jenesis Back – Up Options under Other Products & Services). This option is perfect for the agency who:
•Wishes to manage and protect (back-up) their own Jenesis customer data
•Rarely needs access to Jenesis customer data from locations outside the Agency (or is using PC Anywhere, Remote Desktop or Go to My PC)
•Has other data stored on a shared network drive that requires back-up

Important Note – It is highly recommended that if an agent chooses the Desktop version, that the agency have a full backup solution in place to protect this data in the event of Network or Server failure.

Hosted Version
The Hosted version consists of an Agent’s Jenesis Application being loaded to protected, generator supported, Servers located in Forest City, NC and is accessible via the Internet. Agents using this version will be able to access their Jenesis database from anywhere the Internet is available via a Log-In screen located on the Home Page of the Jenesis Software web-site. This option is perfect for the agency who:
•Needs regular access to Jenesis customer information away from the office
•Does not have adequate back-up processes in place in the Agency
•Has little or no need to back-up other data on agency Server
