Carolina Insurance Solutions was founded in 1996 by Eddie Price, a successful Independent Insurance Agency owner in Western North Carolina.  Upon launching his independent agency career in 1991, Eddie searched for an affordable, efficient, agency management tool to help him make the daily tasks of operating an independent agency easier. With what appeared to be limited or non-existent options, he set out to create his own system for use in his four agencies. After years of enhancements and modifications, news about his practical, easy to use solution began to spread resulting in multiple requests from fellow agency owners to subscribe to the program by 1999.  Although never aggressively marketed or advertised, by 2006, Jenesis was providing agency management solutions for over 200 agencies throughout the Southeast.

Today, Jenesis is one of the fastest growing agency management platforms in Southeast.  The system provides a variety of customer management features that help agents operate more efficiently.
