When Eddie Price, the developer of Jenesis Agency Management Software first opened his independent insurance agency in the early 90’s, it didn’t take long for him to become immersed in paperwork as he tried to juggle multiple carriers who specialized in various types of business.  He quickly realized that his agency needed an agency management tool that could do two things.  First, it must be able to provide agency CSRs with the tools necessary to ensure excellence in the areas of quoting, policy inquiry and policy changes.   Being able to serve these areas are critical in the agency’s quest to provide excellent customer care. Secondly, the system must be able to provide the Agency Owner with reporting functionality that provided data in custom, selected increments for analysis ranging from daily transaction and accounting, to quote to sold percentages by company, by CSR. Upon researching the marketplace for a management system that met his needs, he found there were no practical, affordable programs that did the things he needed. Thus, Jenesis was born!
